Native San Franciscan Erik Christiansen formed a strong attachment to the sea and sailing during his years traveling the world while in the Navy, an affinity that wasn’t compromised by his eventual disillusionment with government direction and policy. His pop-pointillist oil paintings have garnered a large following among fellow painters and collectors, who appreciate the acute attention to detail and patience this technique requires.

Educated at the Academy of Art College, San Francisco State University and the University of Southern California, obtaining a B.A. in Commercial Art.
Erik now resides in Europe and is working on a series of pop-pointillist paintings.
